Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support speech and language development for K-12 students through virtual services focused on teletherapy and telespeech. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized bilingual intervention in Spanish on a part-time, as-needed basis.
Location: Norfolk, VA (Virtual assignment serving the Virginia Beach area)
Duration: Contract school year (CSY) through June 16, 2026
Schedule: Part-time, PRN (approximately 2-3 evaluations per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy and telespeech services using evidence-based practices
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide bilingual intervention in Spanish
- Collaborate remotely with school personnel and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Fluency in Spanish to deliver bilingual services
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Ability to manage a flexible, part-time caseload remotely
Preferred Experience:
- Providing speech-language services in a K-12 educational setting
- Familiarity with virtual assessment tools and technology required for remote services
